Abukamau (Abu) Ali-Ibrahim is Founder and Principal at Intrepid Partners Consulting and Coaching, an organization consulting and leadership coaching practice dedicated to helping clients create more inspiring, engaging and effective organizations. A skilled human resources management and organization development professional, Abu works with clients to help diagnose and analyze complex, sensitive and contentious issues impacting individual and team performance, and take steps to enhance organizational effectiveness.
As an organization consultant and leadership coach, Abu focuses on organization development and change, leadership coaching, and team effectiveness. He has a straightforward manner and pragmatic approach to partnering with clients. With their input and participation, Abu helps clients examines their current performance relative to their mission, vision, goals and objectives; and design interventions appropriate for their situation, culture and their desired future reality.
Abu has worked extensively in corporate settings including high tech, telecommunications, oil and gas, urban mass transportation and apparel manufacturing. His corporate experience has included responsibility for human resources management, organization development, leadership development, labor relations and culture change initiatives.
Abu has an M.S. in Organization Development from American University; an M.S. in Industrial Relations from the University of Wisconsin—Madison; and a B.A. in Social Science from Michigan State University. He holds certificates from the Georgetown University Leadership Coaching Certification Program; The International Coaching Federation (PCC); the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland’s International Organization and Systems Development Program (IOSD); and the Principles and Practices of Organization Development Program at Teachers College—Columbia University. He is also an alumnus of the Stanford University Interpersonal Dynamics Facilitation Program.
