The International Coach Federation (ICF) is the leading global community for advancing the coaching profession by setting high standards, providing independent certification, and building a worldwide network of credentialed coaches. The International Coach Federation Raleigh Area Chapter (ICF-RAC) is a Chartered Chapter of the ICF. Our chapter brings together individual coaches representing a wide variety of coaching specialties.

Membership in the local ICF Raleigh Area Chapter provides opportunities to network, develop professionally, increase exposure to potential clients, and strengthen credibility as it signifies a commitment to ethics and standards.

• To be a considered a member of the Raleigh Area Chapter, you must first be a member of ICF Global.  Review the Global ICF Membership Eligibility Requirements. If not eligible for membership, anyone interested in learning more and participating in local chapter events may join as an ICF Raleigh Area Chapter Affiliate.

• ICF Raleigh Member: Choose this membership option if you are currently a member of Global ICF. ICF RAC Members have all the benefits of the Affiliate membership plus discounts on special development events, a listing in the coach directory, vote in chapter elections. They are also eligible to serve on the board, lead a committee or special event, and represent the chapter at community events.

• ICF Raleigh Affiliate: Choose this membership option if you are not a member of ICF Global. ICF RAC Affiliates have access to locally-held monthly chapter meetings, online offerings, professional development opportunities, and networking within the local coaching community, and pay less for these events than guests do.

• ICF Raleigh Student Affiliate: Choose this membership option if you are currently a student in a "Coach Training Program". This membership is good for up to one year while enrolled and is not renewable.  Student Affiliates have access to locally held monthly chapter meetings, online offerings, professional development opportunities, and networking within the local coaching community.
