Dr. Angelia V. Arrington has 25 years of progressive professional experience. She is as seasoned leader, entrepreneur, coach, and businesswoman. Dr. Arrington has held several leadership positions with national and international organizations. She has served on numerous committees and boards. Dr. Arrington is a community advocate and an active member of several philanthropic organizations.
Dr. Arrington has owned and operated 14 businesses to include information management, management consulting, meeting and conference management, and technology support services. She has served diverse clients to include Association, Government, Corporate and Small Business as well as dignitaries such as US Mayors, National Public Administrators, Congressional Leaders, Cabinet Members and two United States Presidents; as she once included The White House among her illustrative clientele.
Over the past decade, Dr. Arrington has held several leadership positions at Duke Energy to include supporting corporate executives; corporate supplier diversity and business development; customer relations and market services; information technology, contact center management and claims/collections. Currently, she serves as Manager, Enterprise Claims where she and her team generated over $25 M in annual damage recovery. In addition, Dr. Arrington serves as an Adjunct Professor at William Peace University.
Dr. Arrington received a Bachelor of Science, Business Management, Shaw University, Raleigh, NC (cum laude); Master, Tourism Administration, The George Washington University, Washington DC (magna cum laude); and Doctor, Strategic Leadership, Regent University, Virginia Beach, Virginia (suma cum laude). Her dissertation project was a 40-Day Survival Guide Workbook and Seminar entitled: Leadership ACTS™: Guiding Principles for Leaders, Entrepreneurs, and Businesses.
Dr. Arrington has been featured as a guest on the Les Brown Morning Show, BET Real Business, and The Oprah Winfrey Show. She has published several articles and aspires to write insightful publications and deliver motivational addresses to inspire others to fulfill their passions, gifts, and talents through community service, education, leadership, coaching/mentoring, and global consulting.
Dr. Arrington is passionate about life. She believes in the power of positive thinking. Dr. Arrington is a highly sought business and life coach, trusted advisor, and consultant. She conducts life and business coaching sessions with leaders, entrepreneurs, teams, and businesses. Her personal mantra is, “To serve with love.” Dr. Arrington is divorced with two adult daughter’s; Nia and Danielle and three grandchildren, Nick, Jr., Neko, and Marie.
