Bio
Mark Crouter is leadership and career coach.
In addition to his private coaching practice, Mark is an internal coach with The MITRE Corporation, where he provides strengths-based development coaching to employees and teams in support of their organization’s professional and career development programs. He facilitates leadership development programs, drawing on his own leadership experience as a project manager and as a department head for more than 60 information technology professionals.
For nine years before joining MITRE in 2004, Mark held technical and leadership positions in two management and technology consulting firms, Impact Innovations Group and Booz Allen Hamilton, supporting federal customers. He also served 21 years as a Naval Officer and aviator in a range of operational, staff, and leadership assignments.
Mark is a member of the International Coaching Federation and holds the Professional Certified Coach credential. He is also a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach. He is a graduate of the Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies with a Certificate in Leadership Coaching. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Virginia, a Master of Science degree in Systems Management from the University of Southern California, and a Graduate Certificate in Information Security Management from The George Washington University.
