Ray Pifferrer is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach and a trained Leadership Coach through Linkage, Inc. Ray holds an M.Ed. in Instructional Design from the University of Massachusetts in Boston.

Ray brings deep knowledge and wide experience from over 30 years of working with corporate, nonprofit, government, and philanthropic organizations. He has designed, presented, and managed hundreds of leadership and skills development solutions for global and US teams. He’s a seasoned platform presenter, group facilitator, and training program manager.

As a Latino gay man, Ray brings a special sensitivity and focus to work with leaders of color and LGBT leaders. Outside of work, Ray has performed comedy on the east and west coasts of the US. Ray splits his working time between the US and the European Union.

Summary Statement
Ray Pifferrer is a certified professional leadership coach who specializes in helping BiPOC and LGBTQ leaders spring into new leadership and social impact challenges. Ray brings a 30+year deep and broad background in coaching leaders of multicultural and global teams to:
identify and build upon their unique leadership strengths and assets
redefine leadership to allow for broader ways of displaying leadership competencies
craft, execute and measure a individual leadership development plan in a concentrated time period
increase positive social impact across differences in distance, culture and perspective
Ray is also the executive producer of ThinqTanq, a series of video conversations between leaders of colour where we discuss common leadership challenges and solutions. He's led many interdisciplinary training teams (both US-based and international) for a variety of social impact and corporate organisations.

He holds a B.A. in Sociology from Clark University; an M.Ed. in Adult Learning / Instructional Design from UMASS Boston; and completed the Coaches Training Institute certification program. Ray is based in North Carolina, USA and Cork, Ireland. He works with clients primarily in North America and the European Union.
Coaching Philosophy
As a co-active coach, Ray believes leaders must consider who they are being, as well as what they are doing. Blending humor and clarity is a crucial aspect to his coaching style. Ray brings his lived experience as a multiracial, multi ethnic Latino gay man from a first-generation immigrant background to bring a special sensitivity to all of his coaching and consulting work.
