Bio
Jerry works as a Senior HR Business Partner and Executive Coach with Novozymes, a global leader in bio-innovation. He helps business colleagues and teams across the Americas achieve business success through coaching, enhancing organizational effectiveness, as well as, creative problem solving. Jerry partners with colleagues and teams in business areas that include manufacturing operations, sales, marketing, business development, finance, supply chain, process optimization, technical services, as well as, capital projects. He has more than 30 years of experience in leadership, management, and human resources.
Jerry is also the principal of an executive coaching and HR consulting practice based in the Raleigh, NC area. As a coach, Jerry helps individuals and teams identify and conquer the challenges of performance, development, or transition. He enjoys partnering with people starting an encore career or striving to design a new career focus. Clients include leaders and professionals in business, education, health care, non-profit, and manufacturing.
He holds a MS in Executive Coaching from the McColl School of Business at Queens University of Charlotte, as well as a BS in Marketing from UNC-Wilmington.
Jerry’s professional certifications include BCC, SHRM SCP, GPHR, and ACC (PCC pending). He volunteers as a student mentor with the Cameron Executive Network at UNC-Wilmington, as an executive coach for graduate students with McColl School of Business, and with people striving for a new start via the Raleigh Rescue Mission. He is proud to be a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
