JULY CEC Topic: What Do We Mean by “Accountability” in Coaching?

Managing progress and holding the client accountable to their stated goal is part of our jobs as coaches. However we have to make sure that our clients understand that they are not accountable to us (the coach) but to themselves. They must take responsibility for taking action and the coach guides them in that process.  So how do we manage the accountability aspect of our jobs as coaches?
