With Amy Friskney, Director of Marketing and Outreach with the ICF Foundation and Sackeena Gordon-Jones, Ph.D., PCC, Past President of ICF Raleigh Area Chapter and Chair of ICF Raleigh Community Coaching Outreach. Sackeena won the “Gift of Coaching Award” in 2015, for her leadership with the Community Coaching Outreach Program.

Sackeena Gordon-Jones, Ph.D., PCC

Sackeena Gordon-Jones is president and Chief Coaching Officer for Transformation Edge, a Coaching and Consulting practice. She works with leaders who want to realize their professional and personal potential, and achieve both success and happiness.  She holds the credential of Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation (ICF).  Sackeena especially enjoys working with women and leaders who are intentional about bringing their whole life into harmony, while achieving meaningful professional and personal goals.  She specializes in transformational coaching and strategic planning.  She has coached leaders in the government and the private sectors, throughout five continents.

 

An award-winning leader in the coaching field, Sackeena has served as two-time president of the ICF Raleigh Chapter, leading the chapter to win the Internationally recognized ‘Breaking Barriers’ award.   She is the current Chair of the NC Community Coaching Outreach, leading the chapter to win the inaugural international ‘Gift of Coaching’ award.

 

Sackeena is also a professional coach trainer and serves as the director of the Business Coaching Certificate Program at NC State University. Additionally, she is a keynote speaker and holds leadership retreats, as well as, customized leadership and coaching workshops for corporations, non-profit and faith-based organizations.


Amy Friskney

Amy Friskney is the International Coach Federation Director of Marketing and Outreach. She joined the Foundation in late summer of 2015.  Her background centers on work in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors, and bridging the two together in winning partnerships with over 18 years’ experience in fundraising/development and marketing. She has held positions with American Cancer Society, AT&T, University of Kentucky and Tempur Sealy. Amy’s formal education includes a Bachelor of Science in Communications, and a Masters in Business Administration.  Her role with the Foundation is to work with strategy design, planning and implementation of the foundation’s marketing and development efforts.
