Conflict & Coaching - Self-Awareness and Self-Management

Conflict is natural and part of our personal and professional lives. The way we handle conflict can impact the outcome of the situation.

As coaches, we need to learn and understand how we approach and manage conflict, how we interact with others in difficult situations and how well we manage our emotions and our stories of conflict.

This knowledge will help us gain an insight into our own preferred conflict approach or style and provide an understanding on the behavior of others.

During this Cutting Edge Conversation, after completing a Conflict Style Assessment, we will discuss:

  • What is the nature of conflict?
  • What is your conflict style?  Were you surprised?
  • What are your emotional triggers?  And, how do you manage them?
  • How can this awareness impact your relationship with your coaching clients?
  • How can this understanding be transferred into coaching individuals and/or groups?

Facilitator: Raquel Domínguez
