RADICAL WHOLENESS
by Philip Shepherd

Wednesday, June 3, 2020
11:00 am - 12:30 pm

BOOK CLUB WILL BE HELD VIRTUALLY THROUGH ZOOM

Most of us much of the time live in our heads, disconnected from the body and at odds with the world. We have learned that it’s normal for our lives to feel fragmented, reactionary and stale. The concern at the heart of Radical Wholeness is to show how our culture’s limitations live within our bodies and to help us transcend them, so that we might embody wholeness.

In this book club meeting, we will explore how embodied qualities such as peace, simplicity, connection and clarity relate to the ICF Core Competencies of professional coaching. We will discuss how we go about generating and holding the coaching space based on our own embodied experience.

PLEASE NOTE:  At the beginning of each meeting we will have a 10-15 minute summary and review of the book.  Even if you didn't have time to read the whole book, we will make sure you feel part of the club.

Facilitator:  Richard Kurth, CPC, ELI-MP

Richard is a leadership coach who believes that while all people share some things in common, each is unique, a person in particular. He is a highly attuned listener who uses attention and discernment to help clients identify and execute actions that realize their desired goals. He is fluent in many coaching and therapeutic models, but he deploys them only when they emerge as useful to the client. Person first, model second. Following a work life incorporating commercial banking, international banking, capital markets trading, C-suite executive recruiting, non-profit disaster relief and limousine driving, Richard founded Richard Kurth Coaching as a component of Lantern Light Workshop in 2018. Lantern Light Workshop produces creative expression and special events for individuals and small groups.
