WORKSHOP:
RATIONAL OPTIMISM - BEING BETTER THAN BEFORE

Tuesday, February 16, 2021
11:30 am - 1:00 pm

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

A powerful combination of neuroscience, creativity, strategic entrepreneurship, and coaching make for a practical optimism that will help you to understand your strengths as a coach and how to apply these concepts to coaching clients in these turbulent times.

Objectives:

  • State how the brain works in optimal and suboptimal conditions, and how to bring mindfulness into coaching conversations
  • Engage clients in language choice and storytelling to enhance healing and creativity
  • Incorporate the importance of entrepreneurial creative thinking as a coaching tool
  • Consider "the new normal" as suboptimal language and instead advance the notion that we can have a "being better than before" mindset to cultivate new opportunities associated with the current and future disruptions that the new world will create
