Using Self as an Instrument in

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging

April 22nd | 11:30am - 1:00pm

CCEUs- 1.5 Core Competency Credits

As coaches, we often coach a diverse client base, and with the social unrest over the past two years based on deeply rooted history, our clients have come to us asking questions about how to address issues around diversity or simply want to talk about their own experiences.

How do we effectively support our clients when we have questions ourselves or we may not feel that we have the experience, tools and resources to address issues focusing on diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging? The work starts with us.

Join us for an interactive session with Jaslyn Roberts and Steve Larson, diversity practitioners, who have been working in this space for over 20 years. Steve and Jaslyn worked together as internal diversity consultants and has continued their partnership consulting to clients in education, travel, IT, nonprofits, to name a few. Steve and Jaslyn will take you through an experience to reflect on how we show up with others that can support you in meeting client needs.

Join us and walk away with a clearer understanding of the concept of group identities in diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging, the unintentional consequences of assigning judgment, and opportunities to leverage those identities for successful coaching engagements.
