Protect Yourself from Coach Burnout

September 19, 2022 |
11:00am - 12:30pm ET

CCEUs- 1 Core Competency and 1.0 Resource Development Credit

As coaches, we have all suffered from burnout in one way or another.

In this workshop, we will identify the major causes of coach burnout and what you can do to protect yourself from going into overwhelm and the resulting burnout.

Breakout rooms will be used for a more intimate discussion of our personal experiences and to share best practices to identify the red flags that lead to burnout.

As we come back together, we will discuss the ways identified to avoid the ensuing overwhelm and burnout. You should leave the workshop with concrete ideas to help you skip the overwhelm and extinguish the burnout

Meet the presenter: Rosanne Boswell, CC

I started coaching in 1976 as a high school student in a pilot program where I was trained to coach troubled middle school students. The training included asking deep questions and reflections using the student’s words to help them overcome problems and move in a positive direction. I used this philosophy throughout my life and career as a professional tennis coach, and in ladies’ ministries where I ministered primarily to young wives of alcoholic husbands.

After 20 years as a tennis pro, I retired and moved into the world of business and life coaching where I remain today. From helping entrepreneurs start their own businesses and small businesses get out of their own way to achieve their desired growth all the way to helping business partners plan an exit strategy amicable to all. I am DISC certified and coach individuals and teams using this platform. I run Redirected Peer Coaching Mastermind, helping young coaches hone their coaching skills and build their businesses. After caring for several family members, in my home, as they passed from this life, I have added a second niche of coaching caregivers helping them reduce overwhelm and burnout. My personal motto is, “mind and body, train them both”. Training comes naturally to me; I am a life long learner, always pursuing ways to improve myself and my clients, leading a ladies Bible study for over 31 years, and am an avid CrossFitter, walker, hiker, and biker.
