Active listening is a critical tool used within the coaching session. This seminar will provide participants with the information and exercises for developing and maintaining strong active listening skills. This participatory session will help participants gain:

  • Deeper understanding of active listening skills through examples that show the skills producing more effective working relationships with clients 

  • Awareness of personal levels of active listening skills 

  • Ways to develop their active listening skills further

Speaker:

Rhonda SuttonRhonda Sutton is a native North Carolinian with a doctorate (Ph.D.) and Masters (M.Ed.) in Counselor Education from North Carolina State University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPCS) in North Carolina. Rhonda has over 20 years experience as a counselor and has presented over 100 workshops on a variety of professional and personal topics.

In 2011, she opened her current private practice, InnerSights Counseling and Consultation. She enjoys helping people discover and develop their potentials while helping them move past the obstacles that impede their abilities to be the people they wish to be.
