Join us for the supervision circle of Higher Ed Coaches SIG to harness the benefits of coaching supervision in a supportive and judgment-free online environment. In this 8-month program, we offer a unique opportunity to new and seasoned coaches to share their successes and challenges, sharpen coaching skills, and uncover new areas of growth and development.

Who should join?

  • New or experienced higher ed coaches who are actively coaching at least 1 client
  • Completion of or current enrollment in a coach training

What do expect:

  • Safe, confidential, and supportive online space to share challenging scenarios
  • Reflective dialogues around your coaching work and skill development beyond ICF core competencies
  • Access to the collective group wisdom
  • Focus on the “coach as a person, as a professional, and as a coach”

When: 8-9:30am EST, every third Thursday with some exceptions to avoid conflict with HEC-SIG cohort 4)

Contact and inquiries:

Irina Filonova, PhD, PCC is the founder of "the phd whisperer," an evidence-based coaching and training company for PhDs within and outside academia. She currently serves as a cohort development team leader of the Higher Education Coaches Special Interest Group. As a coach, Irina helps PhDs create professional lives and realize their leadership potential in alignment with individuals’ values, skills, and interests. Previously, Irina worked as an academic developer at the Faculty Affairs Office, OIST, Japan, after completing a 3-year postdoc at UT Southwestern, Dallas, Texas. She holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences (Neuroscience), ICF PCC certification, and Gallup Strength Development Coach certification.
