Pamela J. Maxson, PhD, MCC, is an executive/leadership individual and team coach, mentor coach, trainer/facilitator, speaker and lifelong learner who focuses on helping individuals tap into their purpose, overcome their personal and professional obstacles, and develop a plan to achieve their goals. Pam works with clients to understand and leverage their leadership style, maximize their own and their team’s potential, improve communication, increase their emotional intelligence, and explore their personal and professional fulfillment. Pam has taught coaching for several years and is currently a mentor coach and assessor. Her core mission is to help coaches master their skills and their “being” to best serve their clients. Pam’s happy place is the intersection of coaching, teaching/mentoring, and learning. Pam is an ICF Master Certified Coach, a Certified Business and Professional Coach, and a Certified Authentic Leadership Coach. Pam has worked in organizational leadership and taught developmental psychology at Duke University for 30 years. Pam is the founder of Periscope Coaching, LLC, which provides a new lens on leading, an author (Finding Your Inner Bitch), and the current president of the ICF Raleigh Chapter.
