This event is co-hosted with ICF NYC, the Competency Co-Lab, a monthly series for coaches to elevate their mastery of the ICF Core Competencies. Experience structured practice drills, interactive learning, and a supportive community. The Competency Co-Lab bridges theory and practical application, so you can seamlessly integrate your learnings into your coaching practice.
Each session unveils a drill specially designed around a Core Competency. Drill by drill, gain mastery over the full range of Competencies.
The January Co-Lab will be focused on Advice Alarm.
We will develop awareness of one’s internal reactions, thoughts, and energy in the moment—and intentionally choose responses that align with the coaching mindset.

Bio:
Dominique is the CEO at Group Coaching HQ, an ICF-accredited trainer that equips organizations and coaches with the expertise and support to lead the future of coaching: impactful, scalable group coaching programs. She is fueled by her 17-year career in educational leadership and passionate about creating engaging growth opportunities for individuals and groups. She was a teacher trainer for the International Baccalaureate and a school leader in top-rated international schools in Europe, Asia, and the U.S.
She holds a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and Change, is an ICF PCC, Certified Mentor Coach, Certified Systemic Team Coach, Hogan Assessments Certified Coach, and certified LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Facilitator and Coach.

We will practice using statements over questions to deepen client reflection, self-awareness, and ownership while enhancing clarity, efficient/direct communication, and partnership in alignment with the client’s agenda.
